STUDY ABROAD:
Manhattanville offers students the opportunity to visit the world. Our highly regarded connections with international institutions, colleges, universities and providers make living and studying abroad an even more appealing option.
Manhattanville encourages students, as part of its commitment to global and intercultural learning, to explore studying overseas. Regrettably, the school has limited spaces each year in its own cooperative programs and must employ highly competitive standards during the selection process. Priority is given to students who have never had a sustained global experience abroad. Low priority is given to students who have already experienced living and studying abroad or outside the U.S. Interested Sophomore students should visit the Study Abroad Office immediately and consult with the Director of the program in order to apply for travel and study during Junior year.
Sophomore students are invited to apply for a one semester study abroad with Manhattanville College during their Junior year. Application deadline is Feb. 22, 2010. Contact Wil Tyrrell, Study Abroad Director, in the Academic Advising Office, Founders G-7. Or visit the Study Abroad Programs page here.
SOPHOMORE PORTOFOLIO:
Second semester Sophomores are required to submit their “First Portfolio Review” by April 9, 2010. The Portfolio process allows students to become familiar with and responsible for their academic program while at Manhattanville College. Students work closely with their faculty advisor and the Sophomore Class Dean, Wil Tyrrell to complete the Portfolio submission (798-2755; office located in Academic Advising, Founders G-7). Further information concerning the Portfolio can be found on the Manhattanville Portfolio page here.
