John Christopher Carney is a critical analyst of late modernity. John grew up in Brooklyn, New York and received his B.A. in Political Science from Brooklyn College after serving in the U.S. Navy. He went on to receive his M.A. and Ph.D. from New School University. He is the author of Rethinking Sartre: A Political Reading (University Press of America, 2007) and The Phenomenological Argument for the Existence of God (Edwin Mellen Press, 2001). His research and teaching interests include the Public Policy of Science and Technology.
