Distinguished Alumni Awards
The Manhattanville Alumni Association wishes to honor those graduates who have attained notable achievements in their fields of endeavor and those graduates who have worked tirelessly to serve the Manhattanville community. This year we plan to present the following awards:
The Distinguished Alumni Achievement Award (Download Form )
This is the College’s highest form of recognition given to those alumni who have made a lasting impact on society through outstanding professional, voluntary or philanthropic accomplishments.
The Alumni Service Award (Download Form )
This is a special recognition given to those alumni who advance the mission of the College through dedicated volunteer efforts in support of its programs, thereby ensuring the College’s impact on the community and future generation of students. The recipient’s service should center on providing volunteer services over a reasonable period of time to one or more of the following: The College or its various departments and programs; the Manhattanville Alumni Association; and any alumni association, student organization or club recognized by the College. The recipient may also have participated in a short-term project that the College has identified as a high visibility, high impact event, project or program.
On behalf of the Association, I respectfully request your thoughtful nomination of individuals who merit consideration for either one of these awards. Each recipient must have earned a degree from the College. Alumni who are members of the Association, Board of Trustees, faculty and staff are also eligible. Each recipient must be in attendance at the designated ceremony in order to receive the award. This year, the award will be presented during Reunion weekend on Saturday, September 30, 2006.
To nominate an alumni for either of the awards please submit the information requested and a personal statement supporting the nominee. Nominations are due by April 24th, 2006. Nominations received after this date may not be considered. You may either:
