Financial Assistance and Scholarships
Family Educational Loans are available to graduate students.
Full time graduate status carries a course load of 9 credits per semester.
Half time graduate status carries a course load of 5-8 credits per semester.
In order to qualify for this type of financial aid, a student must:
- Be matriculated (fully accepted) into the Teacher Education program (non-matriculated students do not qualify)
- Be at least a half time student
- Not be in default on a loan from a previous institution
- Be a U.S. citizen or have permanent resident status.
To apply for a Family Educational Loan, a student must complete:
Documents are available in the Financial Aid Office (Reid Hall).
Additionally, all students must request a Financial Aid transcript from each previous post-secondary institution attended, whether financial aid was received or not. Institutional assistance is offered to graduate students through two programs. Students are eligible for only one of these programs at a time.
