Young People's Summer Writing Workshop
THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE INSTITUTE (ELI)
July 14 – July 18, 2008
Our Young People’s Writing Workshop will provide a relaxed, supportive and structured environment in which young people in grades 4-11 who are strong writers will further develop and enhance their writing skills. Taught by New York State certified teachers, students will creatively explore subjects of their own choosing and will learn practical techniques for developing a topic, writing a draft, and revising and editing on the computer.
The week culminates in the publication and oral presentation of student work. This workshop runs from Monday, July 14 through Friday, July 18 from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Tuition is $250 for one week.
