George Washington Elementary School

The George Washington PDS has accepted five Day Start students into the Fellows program for the 2008-2009 school year. They will do all their field work and student teaching in the school as well as give three hours per week to help in various capacities.
Professor Diane Lang will teach Social Studies Methods and the Arts and Professor Rupam Saran will teach Math Methods in the fall, both on-site.
Professor Jane Gangi will continue as a Literacy consultant.
Several student teachers have been placed at George Washington for the Fall semester.
