Part-Time Courses
The English Language Institute (ELI) part-time program is designed to meet the needs of non-native English speakers, living in the Westchester-Fairfield area, who wish to improve their English language proficiency for social, professional, and academic purposes. A variety of non-credit courses are offered for high-beginner to advanced level students in both the ELI’s General and Intensive programs. These courses include both skill-based courses such as Grammar and Conversation, and content-based courses such as Business English, Introduction to Fiction, and American Idioms and Slang. (Course selection varies by session.)

Spring 2010
Spring I (January 23 – March 14, 2010)
Registration for part-time study begins Wednesday, December 16, 2010.
A $30 late fee will be added to registrations received after Friday January 8, 2010.
Spring II (March 22 – May 9, 2010)
Registration for part-time study begins Wednesday, February 10, 2010.
A $30 late fee will be added to registrations received after Monday, March 1, 2010.

Fall 2009
Fall I (September 9 – October 25, 2009)
Registration for part-time study begins Wednesday, August 26, 2009.
A $30 late fee will be added to registrations received after Friday, September 4, 2009.
Fall II (October 26 – December 13, 2009)
Registration for part-time study begins Wednesday, September 30, 2009.
A $30 late fee will be added to registrations received after Wednesday, October 14, 2009.

Summer 2009
Summer I (May 20 – June 24, 2009).
Registration for part-time study begins Monday, April 13, 2009.
A $30 late fee will be added to registrations received after Monday, May 4, 2009.
Summer II (July 6 – July 31, 2009)
Registration for part-time study begins Wednesday, June 3, 2009.
A $30 late fee will be added to registrations received after Wednesday, June 17, 2009.
