Writing
Writing assistance at the ARC takes place in multiple forms to meet diverse needs. Professional instructors meet with individual students for personal tutoring in a variety of writing assignments. Appointments need to be made for individual appointments. In addition there are regularly scheduled workshops in specific areas.
Take our ARC writing assessment quiz to see if you might be helped by coming to us.
1. Do you ever see the abbreviation "Awk." in the margin of a paper and wonder what your professor meant?
2. Do you ever work hard revising a paper, only to be disappointed by your final grade?
3. Do you ever confuse the word "been" with the word "being"?
4. Do you not know what is wrong with the following sentence: "The actor who I saw on the PBS special last night is someone I have never seen before."
